This was a joy to read on something highly relatable. I tend to feel there is always a level of transcendence to understanding how deep connections work - beyond the tangible.
There is! I keep going back to Rilke's quote: 'things are not as graspable and sayable as on the whole we are led to believe.' I think it applies very much to human connections. The fun is in the attempt of articulating them :)
Yashmi, I read this yesterday and I can’t remember the last time I read something that’s brings a level of clarity in an area of my life I’ve always had trouble with. Thanks for writing this, I know it’s two years old but I’m glad this is the first piece I chose to read. 🌸
Dope post! I might tweak depth for attention though. I think attention may be the word you were looking for rather than depth when trying to capture the notion of feeling loved, validated, or seen
Thomas here, one of the developers of the kama muta concept. Love the sentence "Kama muta inducers walk into your life and make it feel like play"!
omg, hello! so glad found my piece :) and thank you
What a different perspective. This post just warmed my soul. I could relate to it at so many levels. :)
Thank you, Kritika! Glad you enjoyed it :)

This is wonderfully written. What made you write this? I wonder if one ponders about this while they move from one kama muta moment to another

connection = f (depth) 🖤

I'm so glad it resonated, Makaylah! Thank you for reading :)
